School Implementation Process
Once accepted into the LAA+ Network, schools receive the following professional growth opportunities:
Year 1:
*Participation in 6 A+U modules, including either in-person or Zoom sessions
*Participation in a 5-Day customized Summer Institute, either 100% virtual or hybrid
*Participation in New Teacher Orientation for all teachers hired after the Summer Institute
*Participation in School Leadership Retreat
*Ongoing professional development during the school year
*Google Site created for each school, serving as a house for all LAA+ activities and resources.
*Observations of each teacher in order to provide 1:1 feedback. These observations will be conducted either in-person or virtually, depending on the pandemic.
*Art supply starter kit customized by the participating school.
Year 3:
*Participation in 3 modules, including either in-person or Zoom sessions
*Participation in a 2-Day customized Summer Institute, either 100% virtual or hybrid
*Participation in New Teacher Orientation for all teachers hired after the Summer Institute
*Participation in School Leadership Retreat
*Ongoing professional development during the school year
